Day 1 - Bucharest |

Arrival at Bucharest airport . Transfer to your 3 or 4* hotel.
In the afternoon walking tour in the city centre of Bucharest (subject to your flight schedule).
Dinner in a Romanian traditional restaurant and accommodation in your hotel. |

Day 2 - North Oltenia |
|
After breakfast, a short driving panoramic view of Bucharest with a visit to the Patriarchal Cathedral. Take the highway and drive to Francesti to visit the one piece wooden church made from only one oak trunk.
Drive on to Horezu town to visit the Horezu monastery masterpiece and one of the most important centers of Romanian handmade pottery. Lunch on route. Following the line of the Subcarpathians into the heart of them, up to Polovragi monastery ( visit ) 500 years old.
Arrive in Ranca resort at 1600 m altitude ( take a big breath of very fresh air for a long time ). Dinner and accommodation in 3 or 4* hotel. |
Day 3 - Sibiu |

After breakfast, depart for Sibiel passing through beautiful Olt valley. In Sibiel visit the Glass Icon Museum and learn about the history of icon glass making in Transsylvania. Lunch on route. Drive to Sibiu, one of the oldest towns in Transsylvania, formely Hermannstadt, founded by the Saxon colonists. Guided walking tour of the medieval town ( Main Square, Evangelical Church , Liar's Bridge ).
Dinner and accommodation in 3 or 4* hotel. |

Day 4 - Sighisoara |
|
After breakfast, continue with your visit in Brukenthal Museum/Sibiu.
Continue on with your tour with a visit to Medias medieval citadel among one of the oldest towns in Romania. Lunch. Arrival in Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad Vlad the Impaler, and the only one citadel in Europe still inhabited. Guided walkingtour to Clock tower, Medieval Weapons Museum .
Dinner and accommodation in your 3 or 4* hotel. |
Day 5 - The fortified churches part 1 |
|
After breakfast depart for Brasov with stop over in Biertan village among the first first villages in Transsylvania inhabited by the Saxon colonists to visit the fortified church . Lunch in Biertan .
Arrival in Brasov, nicknamed the Romanian Salzburg due to its location.
Guided walking tour in the city center: The Black Church, the Main Square etc.
Dinner and accommodation in 3 or 4* hotel. |

Day 6 - The fortified churches part 2 |
|
After breakfast depart for Harman village, formely Honigberg to visit the fortified church listed Unesco.
Leave the main road behind and drive a little bit in the heart of Transsylvania
to have lunch in the wonderful stud farm and to admire the famous Lipitzans.
Cross the mountains to stop in Sinaia to visit the Peles castle.
Return to Bucharest and dinner and accommodation in your 3 or 4* hotel. |

2. Transsylvania and Maramures – main sights (code: TMM)
Day 1 |
|
Arrival at Henri Coanda airport. Check in at your 3 or 4* hotel. Bucharest driving sightseeing tour including: the Arch of Triumph, Revolutiei Square, Parliament Palace .

Day 2 |
|
After breakfast depart for Brasov to overnight with visits to:
* Sinaia, the mountain resort on Prahova valley and visit the Peles Castle, the summer residence of the Romanian kings;
* Azuga, the 1892 Rhein winecellar and have a little bit of some wine tasting and a short snack in the traditional Romanian way
* Brasov, nick-named the Romanian Salzburg due to its geographical location and visit the Main Square and the Black Church
Check in your 3 or 4* hotel. Prepare for dinner and some more visits to:
* Harman village with the fortified church listed on Unesco's roster of world heritage sites
Hungarian traditional dinner in Bicfalau village at the stud farm growing Lipitzan horses. |
Day 3 |

After breakfast depart for Sighisoara to overnight with visits to:
* Viscri and Biertan fortified churches listed on Unesco's roster of world heritage sites
Arrival in Sighisoara, accommodate in your 4* hotel.
Lunch in Sighisoara and visit the only one citadel in Europe still inhabited ( Clock Tower, Weapon's Museum with the genealogical tree of Vlad the Impaler, Church hill ). Leisure time .

Day 4 |

After breakfast depart for Viseu de Sus to overnight with visits to:
* Take a few hours excursion in the middle of the Hungarian county visiting Korund handmade pottery center and Praid salt mine where you will greeted by the local Hungarian group dancers performing „ Csardas” , a Hungarian dance; going down in the mine and taste some local traditional dishes and enjoy Targu Mures philarmonic performing.
* Targu Mures town with its elegant center and citadel;
* Dinner and accommodation in 3* hotel or rural guesthouse Viseul de Sus |
Day 5 |
|
Wake-up early in the morning, have a short breakfast and depart to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience trip with a small steam train going on 60 km on Wasser river deep in the forest, almost close to Ukarine border. Picnic lunch in the forest and coming back.

After breakfast depart early in the morning to Turda to overnight in your 4* hotel with stop -over to :
* Cluj Napoca with visits to the Piarist catholic Church from 1724, the catholic fortified church and the Orthodox Cathedral and the Synagogue.
* Lunch in Cluj;
* Visit the beautiful Turda gorges

Day 7 |

After breakfast depart for Sibiu to overnight in a 3* hotel with stopovers to:
* Alba Iulia – visit the Orthodox Cathedralone of the largest in the country;
* Sibiel- visit the icon glass museum

* Sibiu – visit the citadel, the Evangelical Church, the Liar's bridge, Main square etc

3. Essential Romania in 5 days (code: ERO)
Day 1 |

Arrival at Bucharest airport. Bucharest driving sightseeing tour including: the Arch of Triumph, Revolutiei Square, Parliament Palace (about 3 and ½ hours depending on Bucharest traffic). Lunch on route.
Depart for Sibiu via beautiful Olt gorges, have a Sibiu sightseeing tour including Evangelical Church, the Old city and the Orthodox Cathedral .
Dinner and accommodation in 3 or 4 * hotel /Sibiu. |

Depart in the morning from your Sibiu hotel to Cluj ( about 5 hours driving ) where you will overnight with stopovers in:

Depart early in the morning from your Cluj hotel to Gura Humorului ( about 6 hours driving ) where you will overnight with stopovers in:
* Sapanta to visit the famous Merry Cemetery
* Botiza, Barsana, Ieud, Bogdan Voda the most important wooden churches from Maramures area and listed on Unesco world heritage list.

Depart early in the morning from your hotel to Iasi ( about 4 hours driving ) where you will overnight with stopovers in:
* Humor, Voronet, Sucevita one of the most important Moldavian churches dated 13th century and listed Unesco

Depart early in the morning from your hotel to Sinaia (about 6 hours driving) where you will overnight with stopovers in:
* Brasov, nick-named the Romanian Salzburg to visit the Black Church and the old city

4. Danube Delta, Moldavia and Transsylvania in 12 days (code: DDT)
Day 1 |

Greeting the clients by the English speaking guide according to their flight schedule in the Henri Coanda airport;
Visit the Parliament Palace, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon.(all the museums in Romania close after 04:00 pm ).The visit lasts about 1h.
Transfer to your Howard Johnson hotel for check in located in the city heart and refresh yourself for the dinner in a Romanian traditional restaurant: Pescarus restaurant located in the biggest park in Bucharest by the lake. |

Transfer to Enisala – a village on the Danube Delta shores where you will be accomodated in local traditional guesthouse with turkish, russian and romanian influences.
On your way to Tulcea you shall visit the Blue Mosque and the Roman Mosaic; the Adamclisi Tropheum Traiani, the foundation stone for the Romanian nation and stop for lunch |

After breakfast depart for Tulcea harbour to start the 7 hours trip in Danube's heart (light lunch on the boat ). Return to Enisala

Departure for Sighisoara, the only medieval citadel still inhabited with stop over for visit to the Banffy Castle, nick-named the Transsylvanian Versaille and for Targu Mures citadel.
